Lupe Laguna represents businesses and individuals in a wide variety of complex litigation involving business disputes, consumer class action defense, false claims act matters, and sensitive government investigations.
Lupe received his J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where he was awarded the Lowden-Wigmore prize for the best-student published academic article. A member of the Northern Cheyenne Nation, while in law school Lupe was the founding president of the Northwestern Native American Law Students Association. After law school Lupe clerked for the Honorable John J. Tharp on the Northern District of Illinois, where he worked on a variety of cases involving employment disputes, consumer class actions, and complex criminal matters.
Lupe is a former infantry Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. He deployed to Iraq twice with 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines, 1st Marine Division.
