Stephanie D. Ahmad’s practice focuses on employee benefits and ERISA matters, including the design and implementation of health and welfare benefit plans, cafeteria plans, fringe benefit plans, and retirement plans. Stephanie counsels clients on compliance with health care reform, federal, state, and local laws impacting benefits and benefits plans, and related tax implications. Stephanie regularly advises clients on leave laws, including nationwide sick leave laws. Stephanie also has experience representing companies undergoing employee benefits audits before the Department of Labor.  Stephanie litigates ERISA cases in federal court in jurisdictions across the United States.  Stephanie also supports mergers and acquisitions through employee benefits related transactional due diligence.
